The Gunjur Project Association was Established in 2006 and supports and contributes towards development in The Gambia through striving to introduce locally sustainable projects in education, health, environment, and supporting community-led initiatives. The charity has recently developed a community hub offering a range of services including a library, training room, IT suite, community kitchen & multipurpose rooms. Letter of thanks from Missing Link: It is such a remarkable achievement for the school administration and parents of Abu Baker Nursery and Primary school to receive a five-stance, disabled-friendly, VIP (Ventilation Improved Pit) latrine, with separate facilities for boys and girls, boys urinals, and handwashing facilities donation from KTCT. Digging in the rain reaps results

From Cameroon ... "Due to heavy rains (peak period of the rainy season in Cameroon), the local community has tried to do the digging of the latrine pit  for a couple of times so that  the molding of blocks, laying of toilet platform can commence but the water table in the soil is high and can disturb the latrines not to attend the required depth.As such, we have decided to suspend this component of the project til late October,2013 when the rains will go down.
