REPORT FROM CHEMOLINGOT SCHOOL FOR THE DEAF

We continue to thank you and KTCT for the kind assistance. We programmed activities into phases. The first phase is to make beds and construction of toilet. We have made ten double beds 2(10) which accommodate 20 deaf pupils The other five ( 5) double beds are on progress. We have dug the toilet for 30fts. the ground surface was very rocky and that made the digging to slow, but now construction of the toilet is going on well. A photograph of the ready beds:

KTCT, I am taking  this golden opportunity to thank you and KTCT for the gift of 5,000 pounds. On behalf of Chemolingot school for Deaf and East  Pokot community. I should like  you  to know that this will make a big difference to many families. It will encourage  them  to educate their children. It will also help people see that deaf children can be useful members of this  community. Already two deaf children  will sit for Kenya  Certificate of Primary Certificate (KCPE).
