Providing Sinchu Wuri school with toilets (The Gambia)

On behalf of JantaBi, I would like to thank KTCT for an amazing investment in the future lives of children in The Gambia. The money granted will allow us to provide Sinchu Wuri school with toilets, clean water, a much-needed milling machine, and much more! This will very quickly make a huge difference to the lives of over 700 children and the thousands to come through the school. An enormous and heartfelt THANK YOU to all those who provide funds to KTCT, your donations will change lives and the work has already begun!

Thanks from: Uzima in Our Hands (Kenya)

We are delighted that the Kitchen Table Charities Trust is able to support us in replacing the pump to the borehole and installing three water harvesting tanks at Uzima, an Orphan and Day Care Centre that feeds, clothes, and educates 340 vulnerable children in an impoverished area of rural western Kenya. The children will not only benefit from an essential, sustainable water source from now on but also be protected from health hazards such as when the toilets flooded due to excess rainwater that wasn't being collected. These children often only eat and drink at the Centre, and our charity…

Report on the completion of the borehole from Project Share

Thank you for your generous grant towards the borehole and water system at Project Share in Gushegu, Northern Ghana which is now complete. The borehole has been sunk and mechanised, and the water system is now completed to pipe the water to Neesim Primary School, Neesim Nutrition Centre and the Project Share Staff Quarters. Water is pumped from the borehole to a large polytank on a tall water tower which is the main water storage point. This is next to our staff quarters and has a tap to be used by the local communities. The height of the tower creates…

Report on the progress of the borehole from Project Share

Report on the progress of the borehole from Project Share  The borehole project at Project Share in Gushegu, Northern Ghana is progressing well. We sank the borehole in mid- May, at the end an uncommonly long dry season. This was really the best time of year to do this, as it means the borehole is definitely deep enough to provide water all year round. The borehole was then mechanised using a submersible pump, and the site fenced for security. The borehole was sunk just a few metres off our land close to our staff quarters (with the land owners permission),…

And thereafter a final report in July. This water jar has been…
