Cataract Operations in Gambia

Thank you to all KTCT supporters for enabling our small charity to access funds that will effectively make those poor Gambians unnecessarily blindness by cataracts from a state of disablement to being able to take a full part in their communities.  It will allow them to tend their crops, care for their animals and young and visit their places of worship unchaperoned.  A wonderful thing. This money will bestow freedom not just on the 150 recipients of the operation!  It will free their carers who are often kept from their schooling or work to accompany the blind,  even to the lavatory.
